Jharkhand Divyang Jan Adhikari Niyamavali – 2018 for Physically Disabled People

The state government of Jharkhand has come up with a new comprehensive project for the physically disabled people. The project namely Jharkhand Divyang Jan Adhikari Niyamavali – 2018 will soon be launched to make the state disable-friendly. Under this project, various initiatives will be taken to facilitate the physically disable people across the state.

Launch Details

The scheme was announced and launched on 11^th April 2018. Before this, Kerala state has started similar sort of scheme in 2017. In 2018, the cabinet has given its nod to it. Raghubar Das has launched the scheme in Ranchi.

Key Features

Objective: The scheme has aimed to provide all sorts of facilities to the disable people in the state. It must be an obstruction-free living for the beneficiaries in their regular life. The authority is keen to provide a disable-friendly state.
Benefits: Under this scheme physically challenged people will get private and government jobs in the state. All the companies are asked to maintain proper system and facilities for the physically disable people in their offices.
Beneficiaries: This scheme has started for the physically disable people. However, the state is yet to notify the degree of disabilities for the jobs that will be offered to them.
Employee records: All the companies are asked to maintain official records of all the physically disable people working in the company. The companies will also have to increase the stipend of the employees who are physically challenged.
Implementation: The state will form a committee to implement the scheme. The committee will be responsible to find out the physically disable people in the state. They will also be appointed to look after the progress of the scheme.

Along with this comprehensive scheme, the government has allocated handful of money to other several schemes to provide a better life to the people from backward classes, physically disable, economically weaker and so on.
