MHADA stands for Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority. Under this the government has set a target to provide nearly 30, 000 housing units for the people belong to low income and middle income group. It was set up in the year 1977 and since then it is implemented successfully across the state of Maharashtra. The construction and selling of the flats and housing areas take place on basis. How to register for the scheme
There are many schemes under this authority. The applicants have to select which is to be considered according to their requirement. Under MHADA the housing areas and flats are available at much lower cost as mentioned for the LIG and economically backward classes.
- To register for the scheme one has to visit their official website https://mhada.gov.in/OnlineApplication/ . In the website you will find the button ‘Apply Now’ and go on with the instruction.
- For the registration purpose you need to fill up an online form stating your basic details like name, address, age, income, ID proof, Aadhaar number, contact details and other details about family members must be entered in the form.
- After filling up the form you need to select the scheme you want to avail. After selection of the scheme take out the print of the acknowledgement and keep it for future access.
- Finally the registration fee can be paid through online transaction or you can deposit a demand draft on the name of MHADA to your bank branch.
MHADA Result: Pune
After the registration the flats are being allotted to the applicants on basis. If the particular applicant is being selected then the name will be shown in the result on their official website. But if the applicant is not selected or the registration is rejected then they will be informed and the token money will be sent back to the applicant.
On 3rd of November 2016 the has taken place for the Pune area under MHADA. The result was out today. The online application for the Pune Board was started on 6th of September and ended on 3rd of November 2016.

The reason for rejection is also stated in this link. Rejection can be done at any point of time during the registration procedure if the authority finds unauthorised / illegal / misleading information from the applicant the application can be rejected.

In this about 2503 no of flats are being allotted to the applicants in diverse areas of Pune. The areas are as follows:

- Wanowari,
- Phaltan Satara
- Solapur
- Tal Khed
- Shivaji Nagar
Along with flats the authority also offered 67 residential plots throughout the city Pune to the applicants.
