Quiz.mygov.in – Register for Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Quiz
In an initiative to create harmony and brotherhood among the citizens of the country, a scheme to conduct quiz competitions throughout the nation has been launched. Hon’ble PM Shree Narendra Modi is the backbone of this initiative and has launched this quiz scheme on 31st Oct, 2016. The occasion for the launch of the scheme was the birth anniversary of Sardar V. Patel who is also known as the Iron Man of India. The EBSB quiz scheme is an open to all scheme where citizens from every walks of life can join. The main motto of conducting the mass quiz contest is creating making people of one state know the culture and tradition of other states and interact among themselves. The winners of the contest will receive certificate of appreciation from the PM itself and will be provided cash prizes.
Features of the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Quiz
Below are the important features of the quiz contest conducted by the Govt. of India:
- General public of several states can participate in the quiz contest through the web portal – https://quiz.mygov.in. The quiz can only be played online and no offline mode of participation is there. One can select state of their choice and play the quiz.
- The contest has started from 20th Jan, 2017 from 4 PM and will continue till 31st Jan, 2017, up to 5 PM. Participants can make free registration and participate within this mentioned timeframe.
- The people residing in one state can pick another state available in the website and start the quiz on various aspects of the selected other state. For example, participant from West Bengal can choose Goa for quiz contest. Then the questions will be asked from different languages, geography, culture, history of Goa.
- As the quiz will be time based, the participants will be given a fixed time to compete and answer the quiz questions. Incase more than one participant completes the same quiz in same time, the person taking less time wins the contest.
- The quiz contest can be participated only once by every user. The time allotted for completing all questions is 5 minutes. However, participants are encouraged to finish it as early as possible.
- There will be a total of 15 questions to be asked from different subjects related to the chosen state. The total score of the quiz contest is 150 marks.
- Winners will be announced and will be notified after the quiz contest is over on 31st Jan, 2017. The government officials will contact with the winner within three working days after the announcement of winner list.
- Citizens can also submit suggestions and their feedback on improving the project through the web portal https://quiz.mygov.in.
Prizes of the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Quiz
The winners will be given merit certificates from the PM Nerendra Modi along with cash rewards. Below are the amounts of cash prizes to be won:
