The state government of Madhya Pradesh has announced the new incentive scheme for the poor and backward class families within the state. According to the new initiative taken, the state government will be offering with financial assistance to the people belonging to the backward class of the state with regular monthly incentive.

The new initiative has been taken by the state government after the approval of the proposal in the cabinet meeting run by the BJP lead state government. According to the latest updates, the state government had taken the initiative on 20th Dec 2017 in the cabinet meeting.

Beneficiaries

  • The sources have also made it very clear that the new initiative has been announced by the state government to be offered to the people who belong to extremely backward class of the society.
  • People belonging to the Schedule Tribes (ST) class will be offered with benefit under this scheme.
  • The state government has also made it very clear that few special selected tribes with the state including Bahria, Baiga and Sahariya will be able to take full benefit under this scheme.

Key Features of the schemes

  • The new drive is an initiative that has been taken by the state government with an aim to eliminate the problem of malnourishment within the state from amongst few tribes belonging to ST category.
  • Under the new drive the state government has also announced that it shall be providing with an incentive of Rs 1000 on monthly basis to each of the beneficiary family within the state.
  • The new initiative was taken by the state government during the winter session of the assembly on account of a number of deaths that have occurred within the state due to malnourishment.
  • The state government aims that with this incentive help the problem of malnourishment within the country can be eliminated to certain extent from these tribes.
  • The approval was also sanctioned by a number of BJP leaders and other assembly MLAs belonging to the state of MP.
  • The state government has also announced that the incentive will only be given to the families belonging to special categories and tribes.
  • According to the latest updates this help will be offered to people belonging to over 2.5 lakh families within the state limits that belong to these selected tribes and ST class.
  • According to the sources and latest updates the state government will ensure that the financial assistance reaches the family members so it shall be disbursing the said amount directly in the bank of the beneficiary. The government has also announced that this money will be given to the women of the family in her bank account to help her purchase all nutritional food for her family members.
  • According to the other sources the assistance will be implemented by the state government for fiscal year 2017-18 presently along with other similar schemes within the state.

According to the state government this initiative will help the state government to fight the problem of mortality rates on account of malnourishment. The financial assistance provided is an initiative taken by the government to help needy people afford their daily meals for their family members and kids.
