Sundar Singh Bhandari EBC Swarojgar Loan Yojana In Rajasthan Eligibility Interest Rate Loan amount Application form Process
During the state budget, Vasundhara Raje has focussed on the farmers and poor people more than other sectors this year. Some new schemes have been launched, while some schemes have been revised to facilitate the poor section. One of the schemes is Sundar Singh Bhandari EBC Swarojgar Yojana. Under this scheme poor people can take loans from the state.
Launch Details
On 12th February 2018, Monday, Chief Minister of the state Rajasthan, Smt. Vasundhara Raje has launched the scheme. The scheme is officially launched on the day of state budget.
Eligibility
People who belong to Economically Backward Class (economically weaker classes EWC) will be eligible for the scheme. Each family will get loan for their welfare. Beneficiaries can use the loan amount to start their business.
Loan Amount
According to the scheme, each family will get Rs. 50, 000/- from the state as loan amount. Nearly 50, 000 families would be benefitted from the scheme.
Interest Rate
Each applicant who is applying for the loan under this scheme will have to repay the loan at 4% interest rate per annum. This is much lesser than the normal market interest rate for the loans.
Apart from Sundar Singh Bhandari EBC Swarojgar Yojana, the Rajasthan government has allocated handful of budget for other schemes like Annapurna Kitchen will soon be opening in every collector’s office across the state. Along with these schemes, interest rate for Home Registry will be reduced to 1% from 2% for the poor people, as stated by Raje in budget.
