  • As per the sources the new web portal services was officially announced for Launch by the Minister of state Giriraj Singh on the occasion of International Women’s Day on 8th March 2018.
  • The new web portal services can be reached by anyone on official web site of Udyam Sakhi at http://www.udyamsakhi.org. from the web browser.

  • As per the statements made, the new Udyam Sakhi web portal service will encourage women entrepreneurs to step forward and offer their contributions towards helping create equal social economic status for both men and women in the society.
  • The new web portal service will be used for creating low cost business ideas by women entrepreneurs for offering with product and service ideas. As per the government it is obvious that women entrepreneurs can help in improving and boosting the economic and social status of the nation.
  • The government has also stated that using the web portal services women entrepreneurs can be exposed to the SMEs within vast variant sector with the support and assistance of the Central and state Government.
  • The government has also made it very clear that the new web portal service “Udyam Sakhi” will act as a motivational platform for the women entrepreneurs within the country so they can get familiar with the changing trends of the present time Industries and to collect an in-depth information and assistance related to entrepreneurship.
  • The new web portal services has been launched by the government as it has noticed an increase in number of women entrepreneurs within the country in past few years and recent times. It will help more number of women to step forward and make their career as entrepreneurs.
  • In present time, there are over 8 million women who are legally registered with the government for running their business (small and big), and over 24 percent of the corporate sector shares are also held by women.
