But according to the Madhya Pradesh Government Youth’s desire of studying aboard, the wish might come true. Now, the willing candidates can fulfill their dream without worrying.

Key features
The primary aim of the government scheme is to provide the required financial assistance to the candidates who are willing to travel aboard and complete their higher studies. The scheme would provide assistance to the backward classes including Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribe students. The eligible students would be given an amount of Rs.15 lakh annually as scholarship from the Madhya Pradesh government. It is also known that the rate of financial assistance can vary from time to time according to the parameters that are set by the government of India.
Eligibility criteria for the scheme
There are certain eligibility criteria for the backward class candidates from Madhya Pradesh who are willing to opt for post-graduation courses or any research courses in any foreign countries. Eligibility criteria for the same are as follows:
- For post research degrees – The candidates should acquire 60% or equivalent in the Post Graduate exam. The marks requirement for scheduled tribe is 50% with additional experience in the respective field.
- For P.H.D degree – The candidates should acquire 60% marks in post-graduation examination and it is 50% for the scheduled tribe students.
The eligibility criteria are the same for the candidates who are opting for any post graduate degree course.
Selection procedure
Age limit – The candidates applying for the scheme should be above 18 years old and below the age of 35 years as on 1st of January on the year of application. Relaxation of 10 years of age is offered in some cases only if it is considered by the committee in special cases.
Income – The total annual income of the candidate or any of his family members should not exceed Rs.5 lakhs. Moreover, only one candidate would be eligible for the scholarship for one time.
Other than this, the final selection would be done based on the merit of the candidate. The shortlisted candidate would be called by the selection committee for an interview round.

Application form
Applicants willing to study abroad should post in the prescribed form which is available online. In the application form, the students have to fill in the required information including academic and personal details of the students. Candidates can download the application form once it is available and it would be made available within a specific period of time.
Registration process
For the completion of the registration procedure, it is important to provide correct information in the application form. Once the candidates submit the application form, their name has been enrolled in the list of the candidates who would be considered for availing the benefits of the scheme.
