According to the scheme four agricultural institutions were established. These institutions are Rani Laxmibai central agricultural university, Bundelkhand, Jhansi, IARI Jharkhand. Among these institutions two universities were situated in Uttar Pradesh and two were located in Madhya Pradesh.
