Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme 2018 in UP – Online Application form Check status list @sspy-up.gov.in
The UP (Uttar Pradesh) state government has announced to officially launch the new Pension scheme termed as Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme. The scheme is introduced for eligible beneficiaries who are of 60 years or above age limits. The scheme will offer with pension benefits to the beneficiaries who belong to senior citizen groups of the state. It is also obvious that the names of each beneficiary have to be registered with the 2002 list of All India BPL category. The interested applicants can get registered for 2018 using the new web portal services under the scheme.
Launch details
As per the statements made the new pension scheme has been decided to be implemented for the year 2018 within state by the Central and state government. The process of registration has been open by the government via official social welfare department web portal services at .sspy-up.gov.in.
Beneficiaries (Eligibility criteria)
- The state government has also stated that the benefit under the scheme will only be given to the eligible candidates who belong to the state of UP.
- Apart from this the interested candidates should be senior citizens of the state (between 60 to 79 years of age limits).
- Under the scheme the benefit will be offered to the eligible candidates effective from 1st April 2011 onwards. The government will offer with pension of Rs 300 divided between state and central government as Rs 100 and Rs 200.
- A pension of Rs 500 will also be offered to citizens who are 80 years or above age limits by the central government.

Process for Online Application Form
- To get complete benefit under the scheme the applicants have to log on to the official website at sspy-up.gov.in/. from their web browser. The web portal is a type of integrated portal services for Pension schemes.
- The moment you are on the main page of the portal you have to select the option for “Old Age Pension”. Apart from this you can also get registered by clicking the snap at “Vridhavastha Pension Yojana”. Applicants can directly get registered to the scheme by clicking the link at http://sspy-up.gov.in/IndexOAP.aspx.
- When redirected to a new window you have to make the selection of “Online registration” option at http://sspy-up.gov.in/oap/public/MenuPageForPublic.aspx?s=OldAgePension. The moment you are diverted towards the new window you will have to make the selection of “New form for entry”. This will redirect you towards the online application form for the registration process.
- On the application form applicants have to provide with all detailed set of information as per requested. Once the details have been provided you just have to save the set of information entered. To edit or make changes you can directly select edit option and make changes before saving or visit the link at http://sspy-up.gov.in/oap/public/LandingPage.aspx?F=U. Once amendments have been made you just can make the selection of Final submission.
- It is also possible for applicants to view all set of information submitted for the pension scheme by selecting “View application form” option or by directly visiting the link at http://sspy-up.gov.in/oap/public/LandingPage.aspx?F=P.
- In case any candidate is willing to maintain a hard copy of the pension scheme form then they can also request for a print out of the copy under the “User Manual” option or directly visit the link at http://sspy-up.gov.in/oap/public/UserManual/Public%20Entry%20User%20Manual.pdf. The copy of the form can be availed in the PDF format.
- The applicants are also expected to make a manual submission of the form at DHWO/ DPO/ DSWO offices nearby to their locality. Candidates need to ensure to submit the forms within 30 days from the valid registration date on the web portal. 2018 Pension scheme List of documents and details
- At the time of online registration candidates are expected to submit copies of other valid documents long with the form. The documents have to be uploaded in the digital format whose details are mentioned here.
- All applicants are expected to submit their latest passport sized snaps along with the form. The snaps have to be in the JPG image file format of size not exceeding 20 KB.
- Certificates of birth and proof of age documents are to be submitted by applicants online on the web portal. The file can be uploaded as PDF format of size 100 KB or less.
- A PDF copy of the Identity proof also has to be submitted that can include Ration card details, Aadhar card details or Voter ID. The PDF file thus submitted should not exceed a size of 100 KB.
- Candidates are also expected to make submission of the details of their valid and registered Bank account. This includes a copy of their Bank Passbook in the PDF format with size not over100 KB.
- A 100 KB sized file in PDF format has to be submitted by the candidates for providing their official income proof from the place of work.
2017-18 Pensioners List under Old Age Pension Scheme
Applicants can officially check with complete list of valid applicants for the UP state Old Age Pension Scheme for the current fiscal year 2017-18. The list has been made available for Village/ Tehsil/ District wise at the official website mentioned above. When going through the list applicants can browse through the Registration number, Name of applicants, payment status, bank details, age and all other details. In Present time the Old Age pension scheme (IGNOAPS) is already offering with benefit to over 38,25,688 pensioners nationwide.
Checking with application status online
The web portal services provide the convenience of checking with the status of application via official website at www.sspy-up.gov.in. You may have to make use of your valid password to log into the official website and check with status.
- First the interested candidates will have to log on to the web portal services officially. From main page the selection of “Check Status” has to be made by them or make direct visit to the web page at http://sspy-up.gov.in/oap/public/MenuPagePublicFor_Password.aspx.
- On the main page after visiting the link mentioned, you have to request for creating your PW. The PW can be created by providing Bank account details in the requested tabs or click http://sspy-up.gov.in/oap/public/Registration_Public.aspx. to visit directly.
